Wedding limo service in Gig Harbor

Gig Harbor Limo provides licensed, insured wedding transportation across Gig Harbor, Fox Island, Port Orchard, Tacoma and the wider South Sound. Bookings cover four things: getting the bridal party to the ceremony, moving everyone between ceremony, photo locations and reception, shuttling guests between hotel and venue, and the getaway car at the end of the night. Vehicles range from a three-passenger luxury sedan to a 30-passenger party bus, and larger weddings are usually run with two or three vehicles working the same timeline.

Wedding work is booked by the hour with a minimum. Stretch limousines are $175 to $225 per hour with a four to five-hour minimum, Sprinter vans and SUVs are $150 to $175 per hour with a three-hour minimum, and party buses are $300 to $350 per hour with a five-hour minimum. A typical bridal party booking runs four to six hours. Saturdays from June to September book out first, so most couples reserve six to twelve months ahead. Call 253-333-0265 or check your date online.

The day itself

What a wedding day looks like from the driver's seat

This is a real shape for a 4pm ceremony at a Gig Harbor venue with the reception in the same place and guests staying downtown. Yours will differ, but the structure holds: transport is a sequence of handovers, and the failure points are always the gaps between them.

Bridal party arriving by stretch limousine at a Gig Harbor wedding venue

A 4pm ceremony, hour by hour

  1. Vehicle on site, earlyThe car arrives ahead of the booked start so nobody is watching the road. The chauffeur checks the route to the venue while the party finishes getting ready.
  2. Bridal party to first lookPhotographer's location first if there is a first look, which is usually a park, a dock or a bluff rather than the venue itself.
  3. Ceremony arrivalDropped at the entrance, not the car park. The chauffeur holds the door and stays with the vehicle for the whole ceremony.
  4. Photo loopCouple and party out for portraits between ceremony and reception. Two or three stops, doors held at each, back before the receiving line breaks up.
  5. Reception arrivalTimed to the grand entrance rather than to the clock. If dinner slips 20 minutes, so does the arrival.
  6. Guest shuttle loopA second vehicle runs guests back to the hotel in two or three loops so nobody drives, and so the party does not end at the first departure.
  7. Send-off and getawayThe couple leaves through the sparklers into a clean car. Bags already loaded, heat on, and a drop at the hotel or straight to the airport.

The chauffeur stays

No dropping and leaving to take another job. The vehicle and the chauffeur are yours for the booked hours, parked on site and reachable, which is what makes the photo loop possible at all.

We work from your run sheet

Send the planner's timeline or the photographer's schedule and we build the booking against it, including the stops nobody remembers to mention, like the florist pickup or the grandparents at a second address.

Routes driven in advance

For venues we have not run before, the route is checked ahead of the date, including where a 30-foot vehicle can actually turn around. Some private-property venues have a driveway a party bus cannot use.

One point of contact

A named coordinator holds the booking, and the chauffeur's direct number goes to whoever is running the day, which on a wedding is rarely the couple. Changes on the week of are handled by phone, not a form.

Cost and hours

What couples actually book, and what it costs

There are no fixed wedding packages here. Everything is the published hourly rate against the number of hours your day needs, which means a small ceremony is not paying for a party bus it did not use. The shapes below are the six bookings we see most often, priced at their minimum hours.

Common wedding transportation bookings with typical hours and starting cost, calculated from standard hourly rates at the stated minimum. Peak dates carry higher rates and longer minimums.
What you are bookingVehicleTypical hoursHourly rateFrom
Couple only, ceremony and getawayLuxury Sedan3 hours$125$375
Small party, ceremony and photosLuxury SUV3 hours$150$450

Guest shuttle, hotel to venue and backParty Bus5 hours$300–350$1,500
Full day, party and guests togetherStretch plus Sprinter6 hours$350 combined$2,100

Figures are the hourly rate multiplied by the minimum hours, before gratuity. Higher rates and longer minimums apply on peak dates, which for weddings means Saturdays from June through September, holiday weekends and New Year's Eve. Your quote confirms the exact rate and minimum for your date, and the number is held once you book. See the full fleet and rates.

Included in a wedding booking

  • Licensed, background-checked chauffeur in formal dress
  • Fuel, taxes, tolls and the Narrows Bridge crossing
  • Vehicle detailed and staged before your first pickup
  • Red carpet and door service at ceremony and reception
  • Complimentary bottled water and climate control
  • Multiple stops on route at no extra charge
  • The chauffeur on site for the full booked window
  • A route walked or driven in advance for unfamiliar venues

Worth knowing before you book

Book the hours honestly. The most common mistake is booking four hours for a day that needs six, then extending on the night at the hourly rate. Overrun is charged in 30-minute increments, so a generous booking is usually cheaper than a tight one.

Luggage does not fit in a stretch. A Lincoln or Chrysler stretch seats ten but takes about five cases. If the couple is leaving straight for the airport, we normally send the sedan for the getaway rather than loading the limousine.

Alcohol is allowed for guests of legal drinking age in limousines and party buses, subject to Washington State law and company policy. Tell us at booking so glassware and ice are set up.

Our own vehicles, and partners we vouch for

The car you were shown is the car that arrives, which on a wedding day matters more than on any other booking we take. Where your party needs a vehicle larger than we run ourselves, we say so when you book rather than on the morning.

Guest transport

The shuttle is the part couples forget

Wedding guests boarding a shuttle between hotel and venue in Gig Harbor

Most South Sound wedding venues are 15 to 30 minutes from where the guests are sleeping, and a good number of them have parking for fewer cars than the guest list. Add an open bar and the maths gets worse: a wedding of 90 people with no shuttle typically means a dozen guests who should not be driving and a car park that empties at 9:30pm because people leave while they still can.

A shuttle fixes both. One vehicle running loops between the hotel and the venue means nobody drives, nobody leaves early to beat the drink, and the reception holds its shape until the send-off. It is usually the cheapest line on the transportation budget per head, and the one guests actually remember.

We run shuttles in two ways. A continuous loop keeps one vehicle circulating for the whole evening, which suits venues within 15 minutes of the hotel. Scheduled departures run two or three fixed return times, which is more efficient for longer distances and easier to print on the invitation card.

  • Up to 30 seats per vehicle
  • Hotel and venue cleared with both sites
  • Multiple pickup hotels on one loop

Where we run wedding days

Pickups are door to door anywhere in our coverage area, so this is not a restricted list. It is the set of venues that come up most often in the harbour, on the Kitsap Peninsula and across Pierce County, and the routes to them are already known.

Gig Harbor and Fox Island

Home ground

Waterfront venues, golf clubs and the historic chapels. Downtown Gig Harbor is tight for a 30-foot vehicle on a Saturday afternoon, so drop-off points are agreed with the venue rather than assumed.

  • Canterwood Golf & Country Club
  • The NetShed No. 9
  • Ocean5
  • Gig Harbor Yacht Club
  • Gig Harbor Golf & Country Club
  • Chapel on Echo Bay, Fox Island
  • Fox Island United Church of Christ
  • Wisteria Hollow Waterfront Estate
  • Vintage Aero Museum, Tacoma Narrows Airport
  • Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard

Kitsap Peninsula

30–60 min

Garden and golf venues through Port Orchard and Olalla, plus the Bremerton waterfront. Several are on private drives where the approach matters more than the distance, so these routes are checked before the date.

  • McCormick Woods, Port Orchard
  • Trophy Lake Golf & Casting Club
  • Yang's Botanical Gardens
  • Cedar Springs
  • Port Orchard Pavilion
  • Olalla Vineyard & Winery
  • Kiana Lodge
  • Kitsap Conference Center, Bremerton Harborside

Tacoma and Pierce County

20–45 min

Museums, historic buildings and the University Place and Lakewood estates. Downtown Tacoma venues almost always need a guest shuttle, because parking near the theatre district on a Saturday is its own problem.

  • Chambers Bay, University Place
  • Thornewood Castle, Lakewood
  • Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium
  • Tacoma Art Museum
  • Washington State History Museum
  • Urban Grace, Tacoma
  • The Ruston Chapel
  • Allenmore Golf Course & Event Center

Venue names are listed to show the routes we cover and do not imply an exclusive or preferred-vendor arrangement. If your venue is not here, send us the address and we will confirm access and timing before you book.

Before the wedding

Bachelor and bachelorette parties

The other half of what this page covers. Same fleet, different night: a chauffeured vehicle for a group that is going out drinking and needs to come home in one piece.

House rules, so there are no surprises

Alcohol is permitted for guests of legal drinking age in limousines and party buses, subject to Washington State law and company policy. Every passenger who intends to drink must be 21 or over, and the chauffeur can decline service to anyone who is not. Tell us at booking so glassware and ice are set up.

No smoking or vaping in any vehicle. A cleaning fee applies to spills and damage, which is standard across the industry and rarely comes up. Nothing here is designed to spoil the night, but it is better said now than at the kerb.

In our clients’ words

What wedding clients say

★★★★★

Excellent experience from start to finish. Our chauffeur arrived early, the limo was spotless, and the ride to our wedding venue in Gig Harbor was perfect. Made our special day even more memorable.

Michael R.Tacoma, WA · January 2026
★★★★★

We booked the Sprinter for guest transport between the hotel and the venue and it was the best money we spent on the whole wedding. Nobody had to drive and nobody left early. The driver was patient with a very slow-moving group.

Alyssa P.Port Orchard, WA · September 2025
★★★★★

Our ceremony ran almost 40 minutes behind and the team just absorbed it without a word. Photos still happened, we still made the grand entrance on time. Would book them again without hesitating.

Wedding transportation questions

How much does a wedding limo cost in Gig Harbor

Wedding transportation is priced by the hour with a minimum booking. Stretch limousines are $175 to $225 per hour with a four to five-hour minimum, so a typical bridal party booking starts around $700. Sprinter vans and luxury SUVs are $150 to $175 per hour with a three-hour minimum. Party buses for guest shuttles are $300 to $350 per hour with a five-hour minimum, from about $1,500. Peak Saturdays from June through September carry higher rates and longer minimums, confirmed on your quote.

How far in advance should I book wedding transportation

Six to twelve months for a Saturday between June and September, which is when most South Sound weddings happen and when the stretch limousines and party buses go first. Off-peak dates and weekday weddings are usually fine at two to three months. If your date is close, call 253-333-0265 anyway, because cancellations and gaps in the schedule come up more often than you would expect.

How many hours should I book

Count from the first pickup to the last drop, then add an hour. A ceremony-and-reception day at a single venue is usually four to five hours; a day with a separate ceremony site, a photo loop and a late send-off is six to eight. Overrun is charged in 30-minute increments at the hourly rate, so booking a generous window is normally cheaper than extending on the night. Send us your rough timeline and we will size it for you.

Do you shuttle guests between the hotel and the venue

Yes, and it is one of the more useful things you can book. A Sprinter van seats 10 and a party bus seats 20 to 30, so a wedding of 90 clears in two or three loops. We run either a continuous loop for venues within about 15 minutes of the hotel, or two to three scheduled departures for longer distances, which is easier to print for your welcome bags. Multiple pickup hotels can be covered on one route.

What happens if the ceremony runs late

Weddings run late; the schedule absorbs it. The chauffeur stays with the vehicle for the whole booked window rather than leaving for another job, so a 30-minute overrun on the ceremony simply shifts the photo loop. If the day runs past your booked hours, the extra time is charged in 30-minute increments at your quoted hourly rate, and the chauffeur will flag it with your planner rather than surprising you afterwards.

Can we decorate the limousine

Ribbons, magnetic signs and a floral arrangement on the rear parcel shelf are fine. Anything adhesive, anything that marks the paint, and anything thrown inside the vehicle is not, and confetti, rice and birdseed are not permitted in any vehicle. Tell us what you are planning at booking and we will confirm what works, or bring the decoration and the chauffeur will fit it before the first pickup.

Can we drink alcohol in the limo or party bus

For guests of legal drinking age, alcohol is typically allowed in our limousines and party buses, subject to Washington State law and company policy. Every passenger who intends to drink must be 21 or over. Let us know at booking so glassware and ice are set up. There is no smoking or vaping in any vehicle, and no open containers in the sedans or SUVs.

Do you cover Tacoma, Port Orchard and Kitsap venues

Yes. We run wedding days across Gig Harbor, Fox Island, Port Orchard, Bremerton, Silverdale, Poulsbo, Tacoma, University Place, Lakewood and the wider South Sound, including venues on private drives where access needs checking first. Send us the venue address and we will confirm timing and approach before you book.

Can we book more than one vehicle

Yes, and most weddings over about 60 guests do. A common setup is a stretch limousine for the bridal party plus a Sprinter or party bus running guests, both on the same timeline and coordinated by the same dispatcher. Because one dispatcher coordinates the whole day, multiple vehicles on one wedding arrive together and stay in contact with each other through the day.

What is the deposit and cancellation policy

A deposit holds the date and the vehicles at your quoted rate, with the balance due before the event. The exact deposit amount and the cancellation terms depend on the date, the vehicles and how far out you are booking, and both are shown on your quote before you pay anything. Ask when you enquire and we will tell you the numbers for your specific date rather than a general policy.

Do you do bachelor and bachelorette parties

Yes, and they use the same fleet. Winery and brewery runs through Olalla, the Key Peninsula and the Puyallup Valley, casino trips to Emerald Queen, and nights out in Tacoma or Seattle with multiple stops on one booking. The chauffeur waits at each stop so the group stays together. See casino and day trips or nights out.

Can you take us to the airport for the honeymoon

Yes, and it is worth booking at the same time as the wedding. Airport transfers are quoted point to point rather than hourly, so the morning-after run to Sea-Tac is not billed against a minimum. From Gig Harbor it is roughly 26 miles and 40 to 55 minutes, from $125 one way. See airport and cruise transportation for pickup times and the other fifteen cities we collect from.

Do you do elopements and small weddings

Yes. A luxury sedan is $125 per hour with a two-hour minimum, which covers a courthouse ceremony, a small chapel wedding or a waterfront elopement with a photographer. The service is the same as on a large booking: the vehicle staged early, the door held, and the chauffeur with the car for the booked window rather than dropping and leaving.

Check your wedding date

Send the date, the venue and a rough guest count and we will tell you what is available and what the hours should look like. No deposit is needed to hold a conversation.
