Airport transfers and car service in Port Orchard
Port Orchard is the county seat of Kitsap County, sitting on the south shore of Sinclair Inlet across the water from Bremerton. It is roughly 38 miles and 60 to 75 minutes from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, from $155 one way in a premium sedan. The route runs south on SR-16 over the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and up I-5, and here is the part that matters: Gorst is north of you, so an airport run from Port Orchard never goes near it. That makes this the most predictable drive of any Kitsap city we serve.
Port Orchard also has more water options than anywhere else on the peninsula. The Southworth ferry terminal is about ten miles east, with a 30-minute Washington State Ferries crossing to Fauntleroy in West Seattle via Vashon, and a Kitsap Transit fast ferry running direct to downtown Seattle. The historic Mosquito Fleet foot ferry crosses to Bremerton in exactly 12 minutes, every half hour. None of them beats driving to the airport, but two of them beat driving to Seattle, and we will tell you which. South Kitsap has the best public water connections in the county and the least need for them on an airport run. Rather than quoting a car for everything, here is what we would actually do for each destination, including the ones where the answer is that you only need us for part of the trip.

The Kitsap Transit fast ferries from Southworth are passenger only, so no vehicles and nothing larger than standard luggage, and popular sailings do reach capacity. Why the Southworth route does not win for the airport
It is closer than people expect. Southworth to Fauntleroy is 30 minutes on the water and Fauntleroy to Sea-Tac is another 25 or so. But you also have ten miles to the terminal, a sailing to catch and the queue if you are taking a vehicle, and by the time all of that is added you are at an hour and three-quarters at best against a straight 60 to 75-minute drive.
For a flight, certainty is worth more than elegance. We drive. For downtown Seattle on a weekday, the opposite is true and we will happily take the smaller job.
What time you need to leave
Working back from a two-hour curb arrival for a domestic flight, with a buffer for SR-16 and the Narrows Bridge. Add an hour for an international departure and 30 minutes for a holiday weekend. No Gorst column here, because there is no Gorst on this route.

Much of that shoreline is unlit lane and long private drive with no number visible from the road, so for any address we have not run before the chauffeur checks the approach in daylight rather than at half past two in the morning. This matters most for a Sprinter or a stretch vehicle, where the question is whether there is somewhere to turn round.
