Why there is no hourly minimum on a transfer
Event work is billed by the hour because the chauffeur waits with you: a wedding, a prom, a tasting tour. A transfer is different. The vehicle drops you and leaves, so it is priced as a single journey. Assumes about $9 of fuel for the 52-mile round trip and one $4.50 toll, since the Narrows Bridge is charged eastbound only and a return crossing is free. On-site general parking is taken at roughly $32 a day with a weekly cap near $149; off-site lots at roughly $14 a day with a free shuttle. Cheaper on paper, and sometimes not there
